Unfortunately my grandparents won't be here for Christmas or my birthday. So I got my birthday present early and on July 19, 2015 I get to go to the Gilmore classic car museum in Michigan and drive a Ford model T first time ever. I'm really looking forward to it , it should be an experience to drive a car that's almost 100 years old.
Has anyone ever been and if so was it worth it. PS in the future look for a review on this driving school but it's not going to be here for another seven months sorry!

I've been to the Gilmore three times—phenomenal. The permanent collection mostly focuses on prewar cars, and they have some real stunners. A good variety and it's in a beautiful setting as well. I did a little write up on it in my post on the Upper Midwest Oppo.

I've wanted to do the Model T driving school for a while, I can't wait to hear how it goes! Regardless, I know you'll have a great time. Enjoy it!

I hear that they are amazingly complex to drive.

You'd think so, but Rat-L-Trap is actually on an S-10 frame, IIRC.

Nah that's a Model A with s-10 guts.
An S-10 is easy to drive.

Oh yes. Just don't forget to lean the opposite direction that the car does around turns. It's the proper way to Like A Sir the whole thing. Also, don't drive it into a parking slot that will require a sudden stop - stopping is hard and doesn't come naturally, and you may go through a back wall/over a curb.

Gimore is probably the best automotive museum I have ever been to...

An S10 is easy to drive it's my DD. Does your A have a 4.3 V6 in it? That's a torquey little engine

Haha ok I will keep that in mind. I am not sure what the driving school course looks like I assume it won't require a lot of tough negotiating around parking lots

I sent it roaring into my dad's cousin's garage, and was like "oh yeah - the column throttle!" and hit it and the brake handle just in time. Derp.

Yup a 4.3 with a carb. It is sitting where the tranny cross member was.
